The Lorain County Dog Kennel in Elyria is currently full to capacity and says it needs to place the pooches in new homes or some of the dogs may have to be euthanized.
The Partners With Paws organization has stepped up to sweeten the deal, offering a 50 percent discount to anyone adopting a dog from the shelter, taking the price down to $33.
As August is the month we celebrate shelter dogs with Dogust, there's no better time to break out that wallet and open up your home to a new furry friend in Northeast Ohio.
