Mother nature may not know it, but spring has arrived. So we've put together a list of upcoming food and drink festivals to get you excited for the changing of the seasons in the Cleveland area. Our list ranges from family-friendly to dog-friendly, and all the adults-only events in between through June 21, the first day of summer.

Taste of Mentor
April 25, 5 to 7:30 p.m. 8200 Norton Parkway, Mentor
This amazing festival is back and at a new location, NOAH’s Event Venue. Some off the participating restaurants include, J's Pizza Market, Marion's Mediterranean Restaurant, Red Wine and Brew, Melt Bar & Grilled, Billy’s Martini Bar and Moe’s Southwest Grill. Tickets are up to $30. Each general admission ticket and senior discount ticket includes two adult beverages.

Gourmet Coffee Tasting
April 27, 9 to 11:30 a.m. 21380 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park. 216-370-3262
If you love yourself some fresh coffee or just looking to learn about the perfect cup of joe, then mark this one on the calendars. Taste and discuss several different coffee origins, processing and how it all affects the flavor. Price of admission for one ticket is $20 or grab two tickets for $39.

Unlimited Crab Leg Fest 2019
May 4, 6 to 8:30 p.m. 3348 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland
If you appreciate a variety of tasty crab legs then this is the event for you. Unlimited king crab, snow crab, a lobster tail, fried chicken, coconut shrimp, corn on the cob, fettucini, green beans, dinner rolls and salad all come with admission. Price of admissions if $65, but also includes unlimited beverages for alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Limited seating is available.

The Taco Crawl
May 4, noon to 6 p.m. Downtown Cleveland
Bar Crawl USA and Taco Crawl have teamed up to bring this tasty event to Cleveland. Sip on some margaritas, while you enjoy tacos from various local bars. Tickets start at $25, with four complimentary taco tickets included. Some of the bars included in the crawl are Velvet Dog, Barley House, Map Room and Dive Bar.

Tallmadge Food Truck Festival
May 19, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. 229 East Howe Rd., Tallmadge
Head to the Summit County Fairgrounds for a festival featuring over 30 food trucks. The 6th annual Tallmadge Food Truck Festival, in addition to great vendors like Manna, Krav, East Coast Custard, Hatfield’s Goode Grub and Wholly Frijoles, also will have live entertainment and activities for the young ones. Admission is free.

Downtown Willoughby Rib Burn Off
May 18-19 Downtown Willoughby
This rib cookoff takes over the streets of Willoughby with many different food and drink vendors including Smokin T’s BBQ, Smoke Ring BBQ, Shock Top, Soul Food Sensations and Goose IPA. There’ll also be live music, with acts like Carlos Jones, Bad Juju, Super Bad and more performing. Free admission.

Kent Craft Beer Fest
May 18, 2 to 7 p.m. 203 North Water St., Kent
The Inaugural Kent Craft Beer Fest takes place this Spring. There are currently 17 breweries signed up, including local favorites like Saucy Brew Works, Platform Brewing, Masthead Brewery, Akronym Brewery and more. There’ll also be live music and tasty food from local vendors and food trucks. Only $20 for general admission.

Cleveland VegFest
May 18, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. 300 Lakeside Ave. E.
Embrace an entire different side of healthy eating with a vegan food court. Learn how to cook your own vegan food at one of their cooking demonstrations. There’ll also be activities for kids, educational documentaries on healthy eating and live music. It’s free admission but a $5 donation is appreciated.

Cleveland Asian Festival
May 18-19 E. 27th & Payne Ave.
This event is a volunteer-run festival celebrating the Asian culture and food of Cleveland. Enjoy live performances with cultural and martial arts demonstrations. Satisfy your taste buds with more than 25 local restaurants, caterers, and cultural associations offering authentic Asian cuisine. Price of admission and parking are free.

Taste of Summer
May 24-26 Old River Road & W. 10th St.
This is the event to kick off summer, even if summer doesn’t know it. Presented by Scene, this three day event features many different kinds of food, drinks, games and more. Start your summer off the right way and have some outdoor fun by enjoying a bounce house, obstacle course, corn hole, giant Jenga, Connect 4, Operation, volleyball and many more activities for all ages. Enjoy food from local vendors like Alley Cat, Bold, Slyman’s and others. Admission is free.
