Lantern Walks at Hale Farm and Village

The Farms at Pine Tree Barn

4374 Shreeve Rd., Wooster

It’s absolutely worth the drive out to Wooster for one of the most fun and idyllic Christmas tree farms around. Spanning 150 acres and close to 75,000 Christmas trees, along with wagon rides, Christmas workshops, a cafe and much more make this place a must visit. Cut your own or pick from a selection of freshly-cut trees.

Kringle’s Inventionasium

230 West Huron Road, Cleveland

One of the most innovative and unique Christmas experiences is right in the heart of downtown Cleveland at Tower City Center. With a toy creation station, a snow growing laboratory, a toy shop and a visit with Santa, your kid will love this place and you. Open through Dec. 24. Pajamas recommended.

Festival of Trees

1407 Euclid Ave., Cleveland

Through Dec. 23, Playhouse Square’s annual Festival of Trees will be on display at the historic Allen Theatre. Local designers beautiful tree decorations are as festive and Cleveland as it gets. Santa Claus will also be in the house at certain times along with live music by area choral groups before select performances of "A Christmas Story." Free pictures with Santa is an option at specific times and dates.

Mountain Creek Tree Farm

7185 Williams Rd., Concord

Out in Lake County, Mountain Creek Tree Farm has been selling Christmas trees since 1949. The spot is dog-friendly, seven types of trees. Santa is coming this year Nov. 29-Dec. 1 and Dec. 7-8 and Dec. 14-15, all from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Holiday Circlefest

10820 East Blvd., Cleveland

The annual Holiday CircleFest at University Circle, includes activities at more than a dozen of the cultural district's museums, gardens, galleries, churches and schools. The places will feature music, food, fun, and shopping. On Wade Oval there will be ice skating at the Rink, ice carving demos, horse-drawn carriage rides and other activities.

Swan Farm

In Valley View, Swan Farm offers pre-cut trees or you can cut your own. This farm extends into Cuyahoga Valley National Park and is about as picturesque as it gets.

Heritage Farms

6050 Riverview Rd, Peninsula

Peninsula is located right in the heart of beautiful Cuyahoga Valley National Park and that makes Heritage Farms and the drive there absolutely gorgeous. This Christmas tree farm recently made news when they decided to put giant teddy bears in some of their trees as part of a fundraising effort for rescue dogs. During the first weekend in December, they’ll put eight bears a day in trees for five consecutive days to give some lucky shoppers the most unique Christmas tree around. They're open while supplies last.
