Party goers celebrated the long summer days and hot summer nights at the museum’s eighth-annual Solstice—a night where art and music come together.

This year's celebration featured two stages packed with forward-looking artists from around the globe: from seductive electro-samba of Brazilian singer Luísa Maita to Mexico City’s Centavrvs; from L’Orchestre Afrisa International’s roots of Congolese rumba to London-based electronica artist Ikonika; from the history of Cleveland soul and R&B as spun by Dante Carfagna to the founder of disco and electronic music trailblazer Giorgio Moroder. Solstice is the city’s premier summer kick-off event—and the heart of the museum’s Centennial Festival Weekend.
