Party goers celebrated the long summer days and hot summer nights at the museums eighth-annual Solsticea night where art and music come together.
This year's celebration featured two stages packed with forward-looking artists from around the globe: from seductive electro-samba of Brazilian singer Luísa Maita to Mexico Citys Centavrvs; from LOrchestre Afrisa Internationals roots of Congolese rumba to London-based electronica artist Ikonika; from the history of Cleveland soul and R&B as spun by Dante Carfagna to the founder of disco and electronic music trailblazer Giorgio Moroder. Solstice is the citys premier summer kick-off eventand the heart of the museums Centennial Festival Weekend.
