The snow didnt stop fans from filling the seats of the Wolstein Center last night for rapper Logics Confessions of a Dangerous Mind Tour. Rappers J.I.D and YBN Cordae opened for the two-time Grammy nominee. Silas, a recent add on to Logic's record label, BobbyBoy Records, also made a special appearance.
Logic hit the stage throwing up the peace sign, asking his fans to repeat his mantra, and chants of peace, love and positivity echoed loudly throughout the building. The 24-song set included just about every song from the Confessions of a Dangerous Mind album along with many throw backs from the artist. The tracks 44 More and Homicide were some of the fan favorites.
Mid-way through his set, Logic took the opportunity to remind his audience that every one of his songs has a meaning and that he hopes that meaning can people in some way. The rapper is known for his openness about his anxiety and depression, which he raps about frequently in his music.
The encore included a three song mash-up with some of Logic's best-known hits, including Keanu Reeves, 1-800-273-8255 and Everyday. The number 1-800-273-8255 is the number to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, and the song was released in partnership with the NSPL. (Katina Alexandria Scalia)
