Last year, a surprising population boom of snowy owls landed in Northern Ohio around the holidays. But this year, based on migratory reports so far, the numbers just aren't there. We'll see fewer snowy owls in Northeast Ohio this winter. Maybe one or two in Cleveland. Thankfully, some owls have been spotted already by the good folks at the Cleveland Metroparks, as seen in this slideshow. Here's to hoping for more to come.
