The New Wave act Berlin entertained a full house of die-hard fans at House of Blues last night, playing mostly ’80s classics with a couple tracks from 2013’s Animal. Throughout it all, singer Terri Nunn, who wore “black high heals, a black dress, a white sequin jacket and a silver belt, commanded the stage. At one point, she sat down on a bar stool to talk about her friend, the late Ric Ocasek. She talked about what an honor it was to work with him, and the video screen behind the band displayed a candid photograph of Ocasek and Berlin. She then sang acapella version of the Cars’ tune “Drive.” At the end, she laughed and confessed, ”I forgot some of the words.” Toward the show's conclusion, the band called all its VIP guests to the stage, and they danced to the pop hit “Dancing in Berlin.” The concert ended with the AC/DC song “Highway to Hell."
