The Cleveland Arena, built during the Great Depression as a home for the Cleveland Barons, stood at 3717 Euclid Ave. until it was demolished in 1977, three years after it officially closed. In between it hosted the Barons, the Cavaliers, the Moondog Coronation Ball, boxing matches, skating competitions, indoor races and more.
