Plus, it's Thanksgiving, and you're gonna do enough cooking for an entire week and be tired of leftovers come Friday afternoon. Why not grab takeout from one of these 25 spots to give yourself a break from the turkey and put some money back into the community.

 Academy Tavern
12800 Larchmere Ave., Cleveland
“This place blew me out of the water with their food! I have been wanting to try this place out because no one I know has been and WOW I love their food! I came here with my monthly pierogi group and it was well worth the drive from the westside the eastside. We shared an order of pierogies and a full size Corned Beef Egg Roll. Don't be fooled, this is not your average egg roll! It is ginormous and is so jam packed with corned beef. Out of all the pierogies we have tried, I have to say these are in the top as the best in Cleveland,” Cara L. on Yelp.

 Cedar Creek Grille
2101 Richmond Rd., Beachwood
“Love Cedar Creek Grille. I try to go a couple of times a month. The vibe is spot on. Whoever designed/decorated knew what they were doing. Ditto for Lindey's Lake House. The food here is always good. The chop salad with salmon is excellent. I know it's a common dish, but they do it really well. The bartenders are always friendly and have a smile. Definitely a gem in the area,” Jim T. on Yelp

 Humble Wine Bar
15400 Detroit Ave., Lakewood
“Love this place! Nice wine selection and delicious signature cocktails. If you are getting food, don't miss out on their wood fired pizza. The mushroom one is our favorite, but we haven't had one we didn't like. Great staff. They are really friendly and accommodating. So glad to have this place local,” Rebekah K. on Yelp

 Bombay Chaat
2044 Euclid Ave., Cleveland
“This is one of my favorite Indian places in Cleveland! They have a wide variety of food on their menu from South Indian to chaat to North Indian foods. Things we have enjoyed: many of the North Indian curries (paneer tikka, palak paneer, kadai paneer, bhindi), chaat items (ragada patties, samosa chole, papdi chaat), South Indian (masala dosa, medu vada). Amazing food, great varied menu with so many options to choose from and friendly staff,” Supi S. on Yelp

 Tree Country Bistro
1803 Coventry Rd., Cleveland Heights
“My husband and I decided to try this place out when we were craving some Asian food.cAnd this place did not disappoint. We ordered takeout due to not being able to dine in due to COVID. We ordered the crispy chicken and the summer rolls with shrimp, and everything was delicious and fresh. The crispy chicken was too spicy for my husband, but the right amount of heat for me! The summer rolls were really good. Counting down to when we can go back, and maybe next time dine in.” Danielle G. on Yelp

 Canary’s Family Restaurant
29891 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted and 14810 Puritas Ave.,, Cleveland
“I'm originally from Jersey, the diner capital of the universe, so it's always nice to see 'old school Americana' preserved when I go to a newfound diner/family restaurant that is affordable and family owned and run. There really aren't too many of these places left anymore, even though they used to dot the landscape across major urban areas and suburbia back in the day. Almost anything I order here, or any family run NE Ohio diner tastes great, with large portions, and is inexpensive. You just don't get that with the national or even regional 'chains'. I often come here for breakfast or dinner, because the variety and value are 'off the charts'. Where else can I get a Greek omelet, with toast, hash brown potatos, and coffee, for around 5 to 7 dollars?!” Xela N. on Yelp

 Tandul
2505 Professor Ave., Cleveland
“Ordered delivery for dinner. I ordered chicken tikka masala, paneer masala, and samosas. Everything was packaged so well, which is important especially when the dishes that you order have a lot of sauce and rice! The samosas were PERFECT! Just a little kick of spice on the inside, and super crunchy. The chicken tikka masala and the paneer masala were excellent as well. I felt like they gave me A LOT of food for what I ordered (which means leftovers, yay!). I would definitely recommend ordering from this restaurant! I will be ordering from them again!” Alyssa R. on Yelp

 Crumb and Spigot
16783 Chillicothe Rd., Chagrin Falls
“5 stars without a question. Found this place on Yelp and I was in the mood for pizza. It had good ratings so we went to check it out. Pleasantly surprised this place not only has good pizza but also other phenomenal food. Tried the meatball pizza which was good. Also tried the "bar steak". I don't remember the type of steak it was but that was the name on the menu. This was melt in your mouth good with a sauce on it that enhanced the flavor even more. This was served with a potato. Probably the best steak I have had in a long long time. My mouth is watering just thinking of it,” Nikki T. on Yelp
