201 Park Center Dr., WadsworthAnother hotel restaurant that is open on Thanksgiving is 1833, at the Hotel at Oberlin. This buffet comes with soup and salad, turkey and ham, all the traditional sides including candied yams, and an assortment of pies and cakes.

Crop Bistro

6200 Quarry Ln., IndependenceFor a great place to watch the football game and enjoy a Thanksgiving day lunch, head over to Shula’s 2 in the DoubleTree Hilton in Independence. Shula’s 2 will have a full buffet featuring an omelette bar, a pasta bar, a carving station and many other choices like maple glazed ham, apple stuffed pancakes and candied yams.

8001 Rockside Rd., Valley ViewLockKeepers is offering their regular full menu on Thanksgiving, in addition to a roast turkey dinner. The roast turkey dinner comes with herb stuffing, gravy, candied yams, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce and pumpkin cheesecake.

Pickwick and Frolic
2035 East Fourth St., ClevelandPickwick and Frolic, the restaurant attached to the comedy club Hilarities on East Fourth Street downtown will have a Thanksgiving buffet. The buffet features traditional entrees and sides in addition to extras like sausage stuffing, smoked salmon, roasted tri-tip sirloin bourbon with a maple demi-glace and more. At 8 p.m., comedian John Caparulo will be performing a stand-up set (tickets sold separately).

The first plate consists of a choice between two salads and a roasted fall squash soup. Then for an entree, choose between a roasted turkey breast, a grilled Texas sirloin steak or a grilled Scottish salmon. A vegetarian stuffed acorn squash is also available. Traditional Thanksgiving sides are served family style and for dessert, there’s a selection of ice creams and sorbets in addition to apple crisp with vanilla ice cream or pumpkin cheesecake.

12700 Lake Ave., LakewoodPier W, the seafood restaurant with the best views in town will be open all day on Thanksgiving. They’ll have a special menu where you can order a la carte or order one of two holiday special pre-fix menus; one featuring a slow roasted prime rib of beef and the other a hearth roasted amish turkey. Both come with butternut squash soup or salad and pumpkin or pecan pie. You can also get a plate of turkey to go so you can enjoy leftovers like you would at home.

Urban Farmer
1325 East Sixth St., ClevelandUrban Farmer, the steakhouse located in the downtown Westin hotel, has a Thanksgiving dinner that won’t disappoint. This pre-fix menu starts off with a Thanksgiving-style charcuterie plate for the table and comes with family style sides and gravy and cranberry sauce for the table. Roasted pumpkin and apple soup, baked oysters, Wagyu brisket, roasted vegetable wellington and apple pie bread pudding all really standout from the menu.
